Sorry for the lack of drawings. I’ve been busy freelancing, con prepping and doing my normal job. Maybe I should also become a super hero.
Fangirls. A terrifying force. Also, some easter eggs for people who follow my doodling on tumblr. :) Plus, I kind of want that derpy baby sparrow tee.
“There are some things that only I can do…”
My tumblr seems dry of doodles. Back to drawing more magical kids.
Uh. Not quite a comic update. But this is pretty much the reason why I haven’t been posting much recently. The book work is done, and I just have to wait for the approval process through the printer and proof it before it’ll be ready for sale!
I’m aiming for it to be done in time for AnimeNEXT. HOPE THAT WILL GO SMOOTHLY. HAHA.
Hi, friends!
You can now buy a digital copy of Animal Crosszine on Gumroad.
You can view the PDF on your computer or iPad (It looks pretty sharp on retina display!). A lot of hard work went into making this project possible. Thanks to everyone who took the time to contribute something. We hope you like it!
Soon, we are going to be posting all of the submissions that we could not include in the printed book due to space limitations. There is still more great art to be seen!
As of this past week, the pre-order period for the printed book has ended. There will still be a few more copies available in late-May, but we decided to close pre-orders because the amount received so far was starting to become unmanageable. We will make a post about it some time after we get back from TCAF next weekend.
Thanks!
Justin and Meghan, Co-Editors
If you guys missed out on buying the hard copy of the Animal Crossing Fanzine, you can get the digital copy for your fancy mobile devices! There’s some pretty quality stuff, and I’m not just saying it because I’m in it. 8)
I’ve been sneaking in time to color the old Kandid comics so I could publish the book in full color. It’s been an agonizingly painful process since it forces me to stare at my old art for hours. XD I’m aiming to get the book published by June so I can sell them at AnimeNEXT.
I’m almost done with the prep work, but I figured I’d give a sneak preview so this tumblr doesn’t seem so inactive.
This guy spent all his money on a flat screen tv that he can’t afford blinds or curtains. :|
Been watching a few artists try out for Artists At The Ready (AATR) and I felt like drawing a little bit of nostalgia and what I’d look like if I entered now. It was the first official comic involving the Breakfast Bunch and myself. I only made it into the first round of the first tournament, but I still have some sweet friends from the experience.
And yes, my summoning device was literally an art block.
She’s learned a few things from watching Batman: The Animated Series.
